C: THE MONEY OF SOUL AND POSSIBILITY CONTROL

A government bailout by the Sovereign Wealth Fund averted Japan's financial collapse, but ordinary citizens continue to face high unemployment, crime, and despair. Kimimaro, raised by his aunt after his mother's death and his father's disappearance, is a scholarship student who dreams of a stable, normal life. He is approached by a man offering a large amount of money in exchange for using his "future" as collateral. Kimimaro is then pulled into a secret area called the Financial District, where he must participate in weekly competitions known as "deals" to retain the money and prevent losing his future.
