Apr 15, 2011A penniless man uses a special credit card to enter the surreal Financial District, where he battles Souichirou Mikuni using mysterious Assets. He is defeated and commits suicide the following day. Meanwhile, Kimimaro Yoga works two part-time jobs to save for his future. While studying for a pop quiz, he meets Masakaki, who informs him that he has been selected to become an Entrepreneur, or Entre, at Midas Bank. The next day, Kimimaro discovers 500,000 yen has been deposited into his account. He considers withdrawing a small amount to attend a Konpa with his friend Hanabi Ikuta. However, upon withdrawing the funds, Masakaki reappears and places him in a taxi heading to the Financial District.
2EP 2Kimimaro enters the Financial District and faces a dangerous Deal with an Asset named Gig.
Apr 22, 2011Kimimaro is transported to the Financial District, where he must engage in Deals involving wagered money and Assets. He is paired with Msyu and immediately forced into a Deal against a powerful Asset called Gig. Unable to comprehend the situation, Kimimaro suffers damage while Msyu defends him. Msyu eventually teaches him to utilize her ability, allowing them to defeat their opponent, though Kimimaro collapses shortly after. Back in the real world, Masakaki informs him that his next Deal is scheduled for a week later and notes an increase in his account balance. Kimimaro later observes that certain banknotes appear black to him. Msyu clarifies that these are funds originating from the Financial District. He subsequently meets Mikuni, who explains the nature of these black bills, referred to as Midas Money, and suggests he possesses knowledge regarding Kimimaro's parents.
3EP 3Kimimaro investigates his father's past at the Midas Bank while Jennifer Sato pursues her own agenda.
Apr 29, 2011Jennifer Sato, an Entre, works for an organization investigating the purpose of the Financial Districts. Kimimaro visits his aunt to inquire about his parents, who vanished unexpectedly. During a search for his father's possessions, he discovers a journal concerning the Midas Bank and travels to the Financial District for clarification. Mikuni introduces him to a photographer who reveals that his father was a powerful Entre who went bankrupt in a transaction and subsequently committed suicide. While Kimimaro is initially irritated by his father's obsession with wealth, Mikuni suggests this drive may have been motivated by a desire to support his family, urging Kimimaro to find a meaningful purpose for his own funds. Kimimaro then participates in his second deal, where he meets someone he recognizes.
4EP 4Kimimaro defeats Professor Ebara and learns about the Starling Guild's mission to protect the real world.

5EP 5Mikuni Explains Guild Strategy While Kimimaro Questions Reality Balance
May 13, 2011Mikuni clarifies that the Starling Guild aims to secure minor victories to prevent reality disruption, but Kimimaro struggles to apply this after Msyu interrupts. A taxi driver’s warning about small losses impacting futures worries Kimimaro, though his own results seem unaffected. He becomes anxious about Basho Pharmaceutical’s potential bankruptcy and its widespread consequences. Discovering that Mikuni’s company secretly acquired Basho to mitigate reality impacts, Kimimaro learns of the delicate equilibrium between the real world and the Financial District. May 20, 2011Jennifer prepares for a Deal against Kimimaro, who is refining his strategies. Kō Sennoza, a celebrity, offers Kimimaro a way to transfer his Deal. Jennifer reveals that Mikuni uses his future to mitigate the impact of others' Deals. Kimimaro speaks with Kō, who explains that Guild actions generate Midas Money and details the consequences of his loss to Mikuni. Following a somber discussion with Mikuni, Kimimaro accepts Kō's offer. Kō's powerful Asset severely injures Msyu while she defends Kimimaro. Determined to protect those close to him, Kimimaro uses two rapid Mezzoflations to defeat Kō, defunding his charity foundation in reality. May 27, 2011Mikuni abandoned his musical dreams to serve as an executive secretary for his father, who prioritized corporate image over saving his terminally ill sister, Takako. Denied overseas treatment, Takako fell into a permanent coma, prompting Mikuni to enter the Financial District with Midas Bank. In the present, Msyu reflects on her bond with Kimimaro, who questions the nature of Assets taking human forms. After witnessing an Entre harass his Asset, Kimimaro suppresses his anger until Msyu’s influence leads him to retaliate physically. Msyu develops a fascination with human behavior, asking Kimimaro to explain kisses and attempting to initiate one. Later, Kimimaro observes buildings vanishing as he travels home at night.
8EP 8Economic collapse in Financial Districts leads to Ebara's death and Singapore's disappearance
Jun 3, 2011Bankruptcies in the Financial Districts trigger rapid national poverty around the Entres, causing lethargy or disappearance among residents. Yoga prevents Ebara from suicide and seeks to pay a fee to restore Ebara's future, but Masakaki denies the request. Upon learning Ebara died in a car accident, Yoga burns a significant amount of his Midas Money. Meanwhile, Mikuni and the Starling Guild initiate a plan known as "C." Consequently, the Southeast Asian Financial District goes bankrupt and vanishes, along with Singapore.

However, their efforts fail when Mikuni defeats Jennifer in a deal, leading her to pass Georges to Kimimaro. Despite Kimimaro’s objections regarding the press, Mikuni proceeds, trading his remaining future for more prints. Assisted by Masakaki, Kimimaro discovers he holds his own black card, enabling him to reverse the press. This discovery triggers a fierce struggle for control, culminating in a high-stakes deal between Mikuni and Kimimaro.

Jun 24, 2011Kimimaro and Mikuni engage in an intense duel, with Mikuni gaining the upper hand initially. However, Mikuni’s abilities weaken as the value of the Yen declines, causing people to recognize the true nature of Midas Money. While Kimimaro fights, Msyu pleads with Q, who takes the form of Takako. The conflict ends when Midas Money and Mikuni’s powers disappear, allowing Kimimaro to land the final blow. C passes through Japan without influence. Kimimaro wins and orders the reversal of the presses, returning futures to their original owners. As the Assets vanish, Msyu kisses Kimimaro before disappearing. He returns to reality to find the US dollar is now Japan’s official currency and all futures are restored, while a dark secret about the Financial District is revealed.
