Bankruptcies in the Financial Districts trigger rapid national poverty around the Entres, causing lethargy or disappearance among residents. Yoga prevents Ebara from suicide and seeks to pay a fee to restore Ebara's future, but Masakaki denies the request. Upon learning Ebara died in a car accident, Yoga burns a significant amount of his Midas Money. Meanwhile, Mikuni and the Starling Guild initiate a plan known as "C." Consequently, the Southeast Asian Financial District goes bankrupt and vanishes, along with Singapore.
