Following Kanzaki's resignation, the United Sanctuary branch faced disarray as staff and fighters departed. Kouji temporarily returns to reorganize the branch, making it more welcoming and successfully recruiting the lost personnel. During this period, Kouji informs Chrono about the Depend Card. However, Chrono insists on cardfighting Kouji to finally settle their score. Concurrently, Shin meets with Mikuru to discuss Chrono's father. This episode focuses on the restoration of the branch, the conflict between Kouji and Chrono, and the conversation regarding family history.
