Ep. 1: Kai confronts erased memories and challenges Naoki to recover lost memories of Aichi.

Following the Link Joker incident, Kai visits Card Capital and Miyaji Academy, only to find that no one remembers Aichi or the Cardfight Club. Believing Aichi has been erased, Kai laments in the club room until a Royal Paladin deck with a new Blaster Blade appears. Naoki stops Kai, seemingly reverted to his pre-Vanguard self, prompting Kai to challenge him to a match to restore his memories. At Card Capital, Misaki provides Naoki with a Narukami trial deck. As they play, Kai uses Blaster Blade Seeker, which triggers Naoki’s recollection of everything, including Aichi. The two vow to find him. Misaki, showing signs of remembering Aichi, accepts Kai’s challenge to finish their fight. In a post-credits scene, Aichi is seen sitting on a throne elsewhere.
