Kai seeks to recover memories of Aichi from those who have forgotten him. He first tries to jog Ren’s memory, but fails and departs disappointed. After school, Kai challenges Miwa to a cardfight using his Kagero deck. During the match, fragments of Aichi’s identity begin to surface in Miwa’s mind, though full recollection remains elusive. Kai secures victory with a Legion attack involving Seeker, Thing Saver Dragon and Blaster Blade Seeker. This decisive moment triggers Miwa’s complete remembrance of Aichi. Following the duel, Misaki and Naoki update Kai on a recent encounter with Moress. Immediately after this news, Kamui arrives and issues a direct challenge to Kai, setting the stage for future conflict.
