Ep. 16: Vanguard Fight High School Championship Kanto Regional Qualifiers Begin
The Miyaji Cardfight Club attends the Kanto regional qualifiers for the Vanguard Fight High School Championship. In the waiting room, they encounter Fukuhara's and Hitsue's teams, with the latter displaying intense determination. The first round matches Miyaji Academy against Hitsue High in a best-of-3 series. Kai defeats Shingo in the first game, giving Hitsue a 1-0 lead. In the second game, Miwa uses the Limit Break of Hellfire Seal Dragon, Blockade Inferno against Misaki to retire her grade 2 rear-guards. Although Misaki defends herself, her formation weakens. She later rides Goddess of Good Luck, Fortuna, activates its Limit Break for three drive checks, and secures two drive triggers to win the game, tying the score 1-1. The final deciding game features a match between Aichi and Izaki.
