Ep. 2: Casshern encounters a robot community that accepts the Ruin before turning violent

Casshern encounters a robotic couple and their dog Friender, who live with a community accepting the Ruin to die in peace. When they discover his identity, they attack him for food. Casshern defends himself but loses control, killing even those who posed no threat. He destroys almost the entire group, leaving Friender as the sole survivor of the massacre.
