Ep. 7: Chihaya and Chitose navigate clubroom arrangements and personal ambitions before the nationals
Aired on February 23, 2013

Chitose decides to quit acting after Chihaya’s karuta club loses, though Chihaya secures the room by letting the concert band use the upper floor for storage. Chihaya’s mother buys her a kimono and hakama, reigniting Chihaya’s passion, which prompts Chitose to arrange more auditions. Inside the clubroom, Kana distinguishes between the concepts of swiftness and frenzy using spinning top imagery. The concert band performs the school anthem as thanks for the space. The night before the national team competition, Chihaya calls Arata, but he states he is uninterested in team tournaments.
