Hideki loses his wallet and is unable to purchase food. To cheer him up, Chi uses her work paycheck to buy ingredients and prepare a meal herself. Her cooking attempt triggers the smoke alarm. Miss Hibiya intervenes to teach Chi how to cook a more edible dish.
