Ep. 10: Aion transfers Chrono's strength-holding horns to Joshua while Rosette trades her life years for power.

Aion removes the horns from Chrono, which serve as the storage vessels for devil strength, and bestows them upon Joshua. In response to this loss, Rosette enters into a contract with Chrono. She agrees to sacrifice a portion of her own lifespan in exchange for granting him the necessary power. This transfer of energy is intended to enable Chrono to rescue her brother. Additionally, the acquired strength is meant to provide the means to defeat Aion. This sequence of events highlights the critical exchange of life force for combat capability within the narrative.
