Kaori suffers from recurring nightmares about Ryo's impending death. Meanwhile, Umibozu narrowly escapes being killed by three powerful assassin siblings hired by the Lodos Mafia. Wounded and shaken, he attempts to locate Ryo. Simultaneously, Saeko and Reika hire Ryo to dismantle a smuggling ring led by the Lodos Mafia at a large masquerade. The three assassin siblings observe this development and decide to exploit the situation. Their specific objective is to eliminate Ryo by taking Kaori Makimura hostage during the event. This convergence of threats sets the stage for a critical confrontation involving the main characters and the mafia's operatives.
