With the second semester beginning, Akio requests Tomoya organize a local baseball squad to face a rival shopping district group. Tomoya assembles players including Kyou, Kotomi, Youhei, Mei, Tomoyo, Misae, and Yusuke. During the match, Akio suffers a leg injury from a stray bat, prompting Nagisa to replace him as pitcher. Despite an early advantage, the opposing side closes the gap. In the decisive final inning, Tomoya delivers a run-scoring hit to secure the victory for his team.
