Ep. 5: Tilarna and Kei pursue a vampire through the city after she escapes their initial attack.
Tilarna and Kei save Cecil and sever a vampire’s arm, but she flees into the city. Police deploy K-9 units and SWAT teams to hunt her while the new Chief Inspector protects Tilarna from an angry superintendent. The pair follows the trail to a closed shopping mall, where the vampire throws Kei into a fountain and knocks out Tilarna. Held hostage, Tilarna learns the vampire seeks the "Book of Niba" and questions her world. Kei arrives with a SWAT team and IR goggles, shooting the vampire, who barely escapes with Zelada’s magical aid. Zelada hopes to trade the book for her safety, but she refuses and drains a salaryman to regenerate. Kei and Tilarna track her to a subway tunnel. Kei shoots her repeatedly but cannot finish her. Just as a train approaches, Tilarna frees Kei, and the train’s weight and headlights prevent the vampire from regenerating.
