Misae purchases dog food for Shiro and instructs Shin-chan to feed him, but Shin-chan forgets due to excessive television watching. Consequently, a hungry Shiro consumes Misae's dress, prompting her to scold her son for neglecting his homework. Hiroshi intervenes by pampering Shin-chan, which further angers Misae. Later, the family attends a school-organized picnic with other students and their parents. During the event, the group engages in fishing activities and enjoys their time together outdoors.
