Misae prevents Shin-chan from interrupting Hiroshi during his work hours. Once Hiroshi finishes his tasks, he engages in playtime with Shin-chan, though the boy accidentally damages his father's project. Meanwhile, Yoshinaga instructs the children on crafting with clay. Shin-chan borrows some clay from Yoshinaga and sculpts a giraffe figure. Later, he visits a bookstore where he reads manga without making a purchase.
