Hiroshi initially cancels a family drive to play golf with clients, but later creates an excuse to join them instead. Meanwhile, Shin-chan stubbornly insists that his mother clean a dedicated room for him, only to make a mess of it immediately. In a separate storyline, Kawaguchi visits Shin-chan's school to deliver his lunch box. During this visit, he encounters Matsuzaka and spends some time interacting with her. The episode juxtaposes the father's avoidance of family time with the child's demanding behavior and the friend's school visit.
