Following Hiroshi's departure, Misae and Shin-chan remain at home. Shin-chan accidentally tears a dress belonging to a visiting neighbor. Meanwhile, Shiro becomes sick and is kept under medical observation for several days before returning home healthy. Later, Shin-chan and his friends join Nene-chan and her parents for a picnic. The gathering becomes tense when Misae arrives, causing Nene-chan's mother to become angry at her presence.
