Shin-chan accompanies his mother to purchase groceries, where he annoys the shopkeeper with persistent questions. Meanwhile, his classmates observe Child Care Day at school, during which Yoshinaga screens a documentary for the group. Later that evening, after hearing a frightening tale, Shin-chan becomes unable to sleep and wakes Kazama to play. The night continues with Shin-chan and Masao visiting the restroom, where Shin-chan eventually falls asleep. This sequence of events covers daily errands, school activities, and nighttime incidents involving the main characters.
