Shin-chan and Misae visit a library to buy books, but Shin-chan disturbs everyone with noise. Later, Shin-chan, Hiroshi, and Misae practice for a marathon, struggling with the cold weather. During the race between the Rose group and the Sunflower group, Shin-chan helps an injured Masao. The principal declares Shin-chan the winner for his act of kindness.
