Ep. 5: Ange awakens bound with a boy who frees her before she finds Villkiss submerged near the shore.

Ange wakes tied up next to a boy who explains her situation, leading to her release and his subsequent beating. At Arzenal, Jill orders Salia to search for Ange. Ange finds Villkiss half-submerged in the surf and discovers Hilda’s underwear in the intake caused the malfunction. After an altercation where she ties up the boy, Ange wanders the forest, gets bitten by a snake, and loses consciousness. The boy rescues her by sucking out the venom from her left leg and treats her in his hideout. While he repairs Villkiss, he recalls his parents’ death and sees Jill approaching. He introduces himself as Tusk but hides his identity. A brig-class DRAGON fleet and a Schooner attack. Ange fights the Schooner while Tusk repairs Villkiss. The machine reacts to her ring, shooting the enemy, which Ange then stabs. At dawn, she introduces herself to Tusk and the arriving rescue team. Tusk honors his fallen comrades and leaves the island piloting a Para-mail.
