Ange starts her first day as a Norma soldier assigned to the 1st Squadron led by Captain Zola. She is supervised by Lieutenant Salia, who forces her to wear a deceased pilot’s suit after stripping her naked. During Paramail simulator training, Ange struggles with controls until recalling aerial lacrosse techniques. After days of training, Zola acknowledges Ange’s progress, and Salia provides supplies and a room. At the canteen, Zola’s subordinates remind Ange her royalty status is gone. Coco follows Ange, confessing her feelings and offering pudding, but Ange discards it and requests release. Jill declines the request. An unsatisfied Zola drags Ange to an interrogation room and fondles her until Ange’s resistance dislodges Zola’s artificial eye. A singularity portal opens, dispatching the squadron. Ange attempts to flee while Salia chases her and Coco tries to join her. The DRAGON attacks, killing Coco with a beam, leaving Ange in shock.
