Following a mission, the squadron collects their bounties, with Ange receiving the largest share. Hilda and her gang attempt to bully Ange due to her arrogant attitude, but these efforts fail. Salia studies military leadership manuals while Vivian begins to develop feelings for Ange, though Salia reveals a desire to pilot Villkiss. At Jasmine's mall, Ange purchases a new uniform and ignores Jasmine's warnings about public dislike. In the canteen, Ange angrily rejects a keychain offered by Vivian. Hilda buys Zola's quarters and discards Zola's artificial eyeball into the sea before planting something on Villkiss in the hangar. During a sortie, Ange ignores formation and rushes forward. Villkiss malfunctions, but Ange transforms it into assault mode. A Schooner attacks, causing Ange to wrestle on the sea until her cockpit fills with water and she loses consciousness. The episode concludes with Ange waking up tied to a bed, naked, with a boy sleeping beside her.
