Kuro is visited by an old friend named Matatabi, who knew him as "Kid". The tiger cat asks Mi, Go, and Kotaro where "Kid" is, prompting them to investigate Kuro as a possible lead. It turns out Kuro is the cat referred to as "Kid", and the two end up getting into a destructive battle.
