35
Masaru, driven by intense anger toward Touma for joining Kurata, initiates a Dark-DNA Charge that forces ShineGreymon into Ruin Mode. This transformation unleashes a destructive rampage that Masaru is determined to continue regardless of the consequences. Chika intervenes to halt Masaru's violent path, successfully making him realize his mistakes. However, her efforts arrive too late to prevent ShineGreymon from causing widespread damage. Overcome with despair and hopelessness, Masaru weeps, allowing his tears to fall onto his digivice. This emotional display breaks ShineGreymon's berserk state, restoring its senses and causing it to revert to a digi-egg, ending the immediate threat.
