Kurata survives inside Belphemon, expressing disdain for the Daimon family. Masaru insults him, prompting Kurata to drain city electricity and swallow space-oscillation bombs to open a rift. Thomas warns that both worlds face destruction. Despite despair, Masaru’s speech unites DATS. ShineGreymon’s Glorious Burst fails to defeat Belphemon, who knocks back the team and reverts BishopChessmon and RookChessmon to Pawnchessmon. MirageGaogamon, Ravemon, and Rosemon shield Masaru from an attack. Inspired, Marcus and ShineGreymon achieve Burst Mode, destroying Belphemon. Kurata triggers an explosion, widening the digital gate beyond control and killing himself. The Human and Digital Worlds begin to collide.
