Ep. 40: The Royal Knights Assemble as Masaru's Group Encounters Gotsumon

Masaru and his companions crash onto a Digital World shore, where they meet a memory-less Gotsumon who agrees to guide them to Yggdrasil. Their journey is interrupted by Craniamon, who effortlessly defeats ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon, Ravemon, and Rosemon to demonstrate Royal Knight strength. Although ShineGreymon evolves into Burst Mode, Gallantmon and other Royal Knights arrive to defeat him. Yggdrasil then reveals himself, prompting Masaru to attack in determination. The punch reveals Yggdrasil's shocking true identity as Masaru's father, Suguru Daimon.
