Ep. 3: Residents battle zombie experiments for metal plates while Kaiman and Nikaido face Shin and Noi.
During the annual Night of the Living Dead, Hole residents compete to collect metal plates from zombies risen by stray magic. Kaiman, Nikaido, and Vaux join the event, while Fujita has Noi heal Ebisu before Shin leads a group to hunt them. The hunters arrive during the festivities, leading to a confrontation where Ebisu is bitten. Shin and Noi defeat their targets, prompting Nikaido to use her magic to create a Door for escape. Five days later, Kaiman recovers in the hospital, but remains skeptical when Vaux reveals Nikaido is a sorcerer. Kaiman returns to the Hungry Bug, leaving Nikaido anxious about her past. Vaux then arrives with Kaiman’s severed head in a jar, as Kaiman had regrown it. The trio attempts an autopsy, but an invisible force cuts the power and steals the head.
