Ep. 4: Shikigami Crisis on the Bus as Takashi Targets Asuka
Takashi intensifies his efforts to conquer Asuka following a recent defeat, while Meirin learns the truth about shikigami and their onmyouji controllers, realizing her hakke crystal has acted as a deus ex machina. Determined to thwart Takashi’s plans, Meirin attempts to protect Asuka through various interventions, but these efforts yield little success or gratitude. She discovers Asuka can stand alongside Takashi, particularly on the soccer field. Meirin offers Asuka pink items to discourage his association with Takashi, but he angrily rejects them. Takashi delights in animating a shikigami wielding Tenshin to infect Asuka’s coach. Although Meirin’s hakke ironically saves Asuka and Tenshin, Takashi ultimately sidelines Asuka due to the excessive time consumed by the incident.
