Asuka recovers in the hospital after an attempted murder involving a bus, while Meirin’s brother Koumi observes declining traffic on the Dr. Rin website due to Onmyou fortune tellers at Nikumo Temple. Takashi confirms that the incident was a calculated trap. Daisuke Shinagawa inadvertently offends Meirin with insensitive remarks, prompting Shuuko to visit the temple with him. This visit allows Meirin to uncover a traumatic truth about Takashi’s identity as the cyber-bully. Following a physical confrontation where she expresses her disgust, Meirin demands to know his motives for attacking Asuka. Asuka ultimately serves as a deus ex machina, enabling Meirin’s escape. However, she realizes that without surrendering to his coercion, she has no means to stop Takashi’s continued threats.
