Ep. 8: Asuka and Tenshin rescue Takashi from the demonic apparition controlling him in the well.

After Asuka fails to escape the well, Tenshin uses a rope bucket to help her ascend. They retrieve the hakke and arrive just in time to stop Takashi from exporting a demonic apparition into Meirin. The enraged spirit refuses to surrender and creates a barrier that distorts the cavern. Tenshin attempts to retrieve the hakke while Asuka distracts the entity. Even when Takashi recovers and intervenes, the tide does not turn. Asuka and Takashi set aside their differences to dispel the barrier, allowing Tenshin to secure the hakke. This enables Meirin to summon her dragon guardian, Shin Shen-long, to defeat the apparition. The victory is simple compared to the challenge of adapting to Takashi's normal personality.
