Senku and Ishigami Village initiate the construction of a cell phone, with a target completion date of spring. To produce gold filaments for wiring, Senku builds a cotton candy machine to test sugar processing. He presents the resulting cotton candy to Homura, who has been observing the Kingdom of Science. After encountering defects during filament production, Senku designs a gear train for the cotton candy machine. This innovation inspires Chrome and Kaseki to build a waterwheel. Senku subsequently attaches the waterwheel to a power generator, effectively creating a hydroelectric power plant to support their technological advancements.
