While eating ramen, the group encounters Gen Asagiri, a magician from Senku's era sent by Tsukasa to verify Senku's death. Gen claims he will submit a false report instead. Senku utilizes a completed iron object and a sudden thunderstorm to create powerful magnets. As Gen distracts an aggressive villager named Magma with street magic, the team constructs a power generator using these magnets. They persuade Kinro and Ginro to operate the device, successfully reinventing the lightbulb.
