Ep. 77: Pilaf attempts to steal Dragon Balls using powersuits against Goku

Pilaf drives toward Baba’s location to collect Dragon Balls, believing Goku remains vulnerable. Goku pursues in the Nimbus and intercepts the vehicle, recognizing his former foes. Pilaf proposes a wager involving his single Dragon Ball against Goku’s six. Pilaf, Shu, and Mai enter powered suits that withstand Goku’s initial strikes. The machines corner Goku, and Shu burns his clothing, revealing the absence of a tail. Horrified, Pilaf witnesses the trio merge their suits into a massive machine. Goku uses a Kamehameha Wave to damage Mai’s suit. She abandons it to ride the combined unit as they flee. Shu launches a missile, which Goku throws back, destroying the suits. Pilaf surrenders his Dragon Ball, and Shu returns Goku’s clothes.
