Omega Shenron detects Goku and Vegeta’s plan and attacks, but Gohan, Goten, and Trunks intercept him to buy time. Goku and Vegeta fuse into Gogeta, whose speed overwhelms the dragon. Gogeta toys with Omega Shenron, who retaliates by unleashing the Dragon Balls' negative energy in a massive attack. Gogeta redirects the energy away from Earth, dissipating the threat. He then strikes with a Big Bang Kamehameha x100, which fails to kill Omega Shenron. The immense power causes the fusion to split prematurely, halving the normal duration. Six Dragon Balls dislodge from the dragon's body. Before Omega Shenron can recover them, Goku successfully grabs the four-star ball.
