Seven years after the Cell battle, Gohan enrolls at Orange Star High School in Satan City. During his commute, he intervenes in a bank robbery using his Super Saiyan form. This incident sparks rumors of a "Golden-Haired Warrior" throughout the city. Gohan subsequently meets Videl, a new classmate and the daughter of Mr. Satan. Struggling to maintain a normal appearance among his peers, he seeks assistance from Bulma. She provides him with a transformation watch designed to conceal his true identity and powers. This device allows him to navigate his new social environment without revealing his superhero status to his classmates or the public.
