After ten days of training, Videl masters flight, allowing Gohan and Goten to resume their preparation. On the tournament day, Gohan advises Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks to avoid Super Saiyan forms to evade press attention. Upon arriving at the island, they meet Goku, who has been granted 24 hours on Earth by fortune teller Baba to meet Goten for the first time. Piccolo destroys nearby cameras to protect Gohan’s identity. Following registration, Goten and Trunks are placed in the junior division. The preliminary rounds begin with a punching machine test to rank strength, where the Dragon Team qualifies effortlessly.
