Overcome by emotion, Krillin destroys the controller before 18, allowing Cell to pursue her. Trunks intervenes out of fear, stopping Cell from finding 18. While Cell complains to Vegeta, he spots 18 lying on the ground and stares in shock. The situation escalates as Krillin’s internal conflict alters the battle’s trajectory, with Trunks’ actions preventing Cell from completing his absorption goal at that moment.
