Ep. 268: Buu toys with Goku while Vegeta and Goku refuse to fuse until it is too late

Buu regains control and toys with Goku, giving him time to find a fusion partner. Goku considers Dende and Hercule but finds them unappealing. He senses Vegeta’s return and teleports to him. While distracted, Dende heals Tien. Goku tries to convince Vegeta to fuse, but Vegeta refuses due to anger over Goku’s withheld Super Saiyan 3 power. Both are outclassed fighting individually. Goku reveals Buu killed Bulma and absorbed Trunks, urging Vegeta to save their people. Vegeta agrees to fuse. Only after Vegeta puts on the earring does Goku mention the fusion is permanent. The two remaining Saiyans combine into a new being.
