Reiji, Maiko, and Daisuke discover that the dragon Gwonku destroyed Medina and holds hostages. Defying Rokkaku’s advice, they enter the arena to rescue captives, locating a woman in an unbreakable cell. They trigger a trap involving a liquid dragon that burns everything it touches. Kyoji arrives on his dragon Air Blast to save them. Upon regrouping, Rokkaku scolds the group for ignoring his warnings. Reiji remains concerned for the prisoner, unaware she is Mukai’s mother. Kyoji then announces that the team members will fight each other in the upcoming round.
