Ep. 22: Kohei defeats an agent in simulation while Reiji pursues Shinsaber and challenges Hikaru

Upon returning to Earth, Kohei encounters an RI-ON agent who expresses concern and reminisces about their past. Kohei dismisses these worries, focused solely on pleasing his father, and agrees to a Dragon Drive simulation. He wins easily, leaving the opponent unconscious before preparing to return to Rikyu. Meanwhile, Reiji continues his pursuit of Shinsaber, ignoring warnings to stop. During this journey, he meets Hikaru, who has discovered an unconscious man. The man wakes up and flees in terror. Hikaru then questions Reiji’s determination to fight Shinsaber and proposes a battle between them, with the victor facing Shinsaber. This sequence highlights Kohei’s dedication to his father’s wishes and Reiji’s relentless, warned-against chase, intersecting with Hikaru’s sudden challenge.
