Ep. 23: Masaomi confronts his past as gang members attack while allies arrive at the hideout

Masaomi discovers Hourada abandoned him with the Yellow Scarves. Celty exposes the truth about Masaomi and Anri to Mikado. Shizuo, shot pointblank, seeks medical aid from Shinra and vows revenge. Anri flees to warn Masaomi, who returns to the Yellow Scarves hideout. Hourada informs him the Blue Squares have infiltrated the group, leaving Masaomi with no official ties. Accepting Izaya’s earlier words, Masaomi prepares to kill or die. As gang members attack, Hourada aims to shoot Masaomi, but a Saika-controlled member intervenes. Anri arrives urgently, followed by Mikado and Celty, completing the tense confrontation at the hideout.
