The crew plans a three-day trip to Sun Jewel to bypass a dangerous debris field. They rescue space captain Connor from Aoi Cosmos fish, and despite his rude behavior, he pilots them through the debris in one day. Connor stays aboard but hides his ship's name, Edens One. Weisz stays behind to build a weapon while Shiki and Homura investigate Sun Jewel. They stop a casino robbery, but Madame Kurenai, the ruler and Drakken associate, executes the criminals with her Satellite Blaze laser. Her emissaries then brand Shiki and Homura as criminals by firing the same laser at them for their violent actions.
