Kurama asks Nana to use her Diclonius abilities to find Lucy, and she agrees to help. Meanwhile, Kohta catches a cold. Yuka arrives to drop off clothes for Nyu and notices Kohta is unwell, so she stays to help him recover. During this time, Yuka realizes that Kohta believes his father died in a car accident and his sister died of an illness. In reality, both likely perished when Lucy attacked them on a train. Yuka observes his misunderstanding of these tragic events while tending to his health. The episode highlights the contrast between Kohta's innocent perception of his past and the violent truth involving Lucy, while Nana proceeds with the search for the other Diclonius under Kurama's direction.
