Black Shadow orders Blood Falcon to retrieve a Reactor Might, while Jody Summer and Dr. Stewart investigate Andy Summer's disappearance despite orders to stop. Stewart’s disguise fails when Clank spots him offering a reward for information. Jody visits a café owned by Burt Lemming, who serves coffee reminiscent of her brother, before Captain Falcon warns her to forget Andy. Blood Falcon claims the Reactor Might and challenges Falcon and Rick Wheeler to a duel on Planet Tank. The battle in a cave generates a vortex that pulls the machines toward a void. Falcon sacrifices himself to save Rick, and both Falcons are consumed by the energy. Jody and Rick watch in anguish as the vortex vanishes, leaving them to mourn the loss.
