Miss Killer fails to eliminate Rick Wheeler and Captain Falcon during the Mute City Grand Prix, resulting in an assassination attempt on Rick that leaves Falcon wounded. Clank observes Burt Lemming’s suspicious behavior and discovers a hidden hangar beneath the Falcon House, revealing Burt is actually Captain Falcon. Falcon confesses that he was best friends with Clank’s father, Roy Hughes, a spy who died protecting him. He explains that his secrecy was necessary to protect Clank from Dark Million, having saved the boy from a criminal life on Forno. Clank agrees to keep the identity secret, while Rick and Lucy remain unaware of the truth, with Clank serving them terrible coffee as he adjusts to his new role.
