Ep. 1: Ray Dawn reflects on Suna's tragic history and his role in its destruction

Following Duke Diese's failed coup, Ray Dawn recalls the fall of Suna, once a village where residents saw Fairy primordials. As a guardian alongside his father and brother Jurgen, Ray witnessed the death of Marlya's parents and the elders' decision to sacrifice children to the Esteemed One. To stop this, Ray's father sacrificed himself, leading Jurgen to adopt Marlya after returning from the War of Unification with a leg injury. Marlya became an outcast, while Veronica was viewed as blessed. Years later, Ray led an army to Suna. Although ordered by the king of Kal-O to seize the fairies, Ray instead destroyed the village to prevent human abuse of their power. His troops massacred the villagers, leaving only Marlya and Veronica alive. Now celebrated as heroes with Dorothea, Ray faces Marlya's hesitation and Veronica's vow of revenge.
