Marlya, Free, Klara, and Serge escort Ray to Tsubal, but an explosion forces Ray and Dorothea into an abandoned castle. Wolfran and Michel Connor reveal the Arcame mafia orchestrated the attack for revenge. During an Arcame assault using artificial fairies, Veronica infiltrates the castle and fights Wolfran, who overpowers her fairy. Free battles Wolfran to a stalemate before Wolfran escapes. Marlya pursues Veronica, who leaps into the moat. A flashback shows that 8 years ago, Damien, a descendant of Crucia Albastora, rescued Veronica, leading to her accidental Fairy possession via a Fairy primordial. Marlya rescues Veronica, who remains obsessed with revenge against Ray. Marlya vows to find her again as Veronica departs.
