Homura the Fairy re-establishes a connection with Shiina, who has lost memories of him, by requesting him to model for her protagonist again. When Ogi Wakamura, Shiina's jealous assistant, falsely accuses Shiina of plagiarizing an old manga series, Homura resolves to assist her. Meanwhile, Uruu confronts Homura regarding his romantic feelings for her. The narrative shifts to a world inspired by Kiyoshi Yamashita's paintings, where cannons attack the local creatures. Homura protects Shiina from Ogi and defeats her. However, Chilka subdues Homura with a near-fatal attack. As Homura falls into the lake, Uruu rescues him and kisses him.
