Rin explains that Shirō must use a command spell to force Saber to attack humans and recover mana if he discovers she pulled the sword from the stone and became king. Archer reveals that Saber knew using her Noble Phantasm would cause her disappearance but chose to protect Shirō above all else. While Saber remains weak, Shirō is captured by Ilya, who offers him a position as her servant, a proposal he refuses. After Saber regains consciousness, she, Rin, and Archer set out to locate the missing Shirō.
