At Ryuudou Temple, Saber fights an Assassin-class Servant posing as Sasaki Kojirō. Meanwhile, Rider enters the temple grounds and encounters Golems created by a Caster-class Servant. Shirō arrives alone to help Saber, who is running low on mana. As Saber prepares to unleash her Noble Phantasm, Rider escapes the Caster’s attack. Shirō’s arrival interrupts Saber’s final move, causing the Assassin to retreat and Saber to collapse from exhaustion. Shirō carries her home, where she wakes up. Saber questions why Shirō repeatedly shields her from combat. Rin explains that Shirō refuses to watch her get hurt. Consequently, Saber agrees to instruct Shirō in swordsmanship.
